SEO basics for a Brisbane business website

Start an SEO review with the website your customers actually see. Can they understand the service, the area you cover and the next step? Are the details current?
Make important pages useful
Google’s Search Essentials recommends helpful content, words people use to find that content, and crawlable links. Meeting its requirements does not guarantee that a page will be indexed or shown.
Write each service page for a real customer question. Describe the work, relevant limitations and how to enquire. Give pages meaningful titles and connect related information. Avoid copying the same page across a long list of suburbs with only the place name changed.
Check access and accuracy
Ask whoever maintains your site to check that important public pages are available to search engines and that retired pages are handled deliberately. Keep business contact details and service information consistent wherever you publish them.
Use real project examples and attributed customer feedback where you have permission. Review old content when your offer changes; an outdated price or guarantee can mislead a visitor even if the page still attracts traffic.
Look beyond visits
Track accepted enquiries separately from button clicks. Review whether messages reach the right inbox and whether someone follows up. Search traffic is useful context, but it is not a count of new customers.
